PeerfactSim.KOM - A Large Scale Simulation Framework for Peer-to-Peer Systems

PeerfactSim.KOM (http://www.peerfactsim.com/) is an event-based P2P-oriented simulator written in Java, and was mostly developed by the Projects QuaP2P and CONTENT. The software is available under GNU General Public License.

The systems enables the simulation of Peer-to-Peer protocols and applications, varying from different overlays to Content Delivery mechanisms. Although PeerfactSim.KOM is a simulator at message level, the simulation includes a selectable level detail of the underlying network topology.

The Software can be downloaded from: http://sourceforge.net/projects/peerfactsim/

PeerfactSim.KOM was presented at CEBIT 2008.
